Accessibility Statement
Danklmaier Betriebs GmbH strives to make the website of Hotel nōa Schladming accessible in accordance with the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG).
This statement applies to the website noa-schladming.com, including its German and English subpages, as well as the integrated inquiry, reservation, and booking functions.
Service Description
The website provides information about Hotel nōa Schladming, its suites, offers, and packages, as well as wellness, better-aging, gastronomy, and leisure activities in Schladming and the Schladming-Dachstein region.
Users can view stays and offers, make non-binding inquiries, and book online. Additionally, table reservations can be made, spa offers viewed, and vouchers ordered.
The content can be accessed via current desktop and mobile browsers and, in principle, with assistive technologies. Information and support for booking are also available by phone or email.
Compliance Status
This website is currently partially compliant with the requirements of the Accessibility Act. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 at conformance level AA, as well as the relevant requirements of the European standard EN 301 549, serve as technical guidance.
Partial compliance results from the content and functions described below that are not yet fully accessible.
Measures to Improve Accessibility
The following measures were implemented during the design and technical development of the website:
- semantic structuring of pages with headings and clearly marked content areas
- correct labeling of the respective page language
- skip link for direct access to the main content
- operability of the main navigation with the keyboard
- visible focus indicators for keyboard operation
- focus management within open navigations, dialogues, and overlays
- closing open navigations and dialogues via the Escape key
- prevention of keyboard focus on hidden page areas
- keyboard-operable consent manager
- meaningful labels for interactive controls
- alternative texts for editorial images
- responsive display and magnifiability of content
The website is continuously reviewed technically and editorially. Identified barriers will be gradually removed where possible.
Content Not Fully Accessible
Booking and Inquiry Process
The online booking and inquiry process is provided via external booking software. Individual controls, selection fields, as well as status, error, and validation messages may not yet be consistently optimized for screen readers or other assistive technologies.
The removal of barriers within this application is sometimes only possible in cooperation with the external provider.
If you are unable to use the booking process, or can only use it with limitations, we will gladly assist you by phone at +43 3687 22192 or by email at stay@noa-schladming.com.
Virtual tour
The virtual tour integrated into the website is provided by an external provider. The controls and visual content within it may not be fully operable with a keyboard or screen readers. Movements and viewing directions may only be controlled to a limited extent without a mouse.
Essential information about the hotel, its suites, and facilities is also available in text form and via static images on the website.
Sliders and Image Galleries
For some sliders and image galleries, the current image change and position within the image sequence may not be fully announced by all screen readers.
Automatically Playing Content
Some decorative videos play automatically and repeatedly without sound. These videos currently do not always have a pause option. They do not convey essential information that is not also available via text or static images.
Disproportionate Burden
Currently, no content is exempt from accessibility requirements on the grounds of disproportionate burden.
